December Insurance Marketing

It’s almost December and time to plan your insurance marketing!

Don’t let the holidays throw you off track.  There is still PLENTY that can be done, even if clients are distracted by shopping and travel.  It’s also a great time to get your office and team organized for the new year so you can hit the ground running in January.

How will you make the most of the next 4 weeks?

Here are a few things to do to market your agency in December:

Draw your Referral Rewards winner from November and PROMOTE it on all of your social networks and email newsletter.  If you do a Grand Prize drawing, plan a date to draw your winner and VIDEO it!  You want to include this in your newsletters and social media.

Annual Reviews – None this month (unless you do yours by renewal date, which would mean December renewals are due).  If you go by last name, we’ll be starting back over in January!

Create Your 2019 Referral Program – Now is the time to plan and create your 2019 referral program.   (If you don’t have a reward program, I can show you how to create one You NEED this ready to go by January 1st!)

Team Meeting – Plan a day to sit down with your entire team and talk about your goals for 2019.  You’ll want to look at your goals for the entire agency as well as individual sales and service goals.  Everyone in the agency needs to know what they are working to achieve!  I also like to have everyone choose a networking group to get involved with and get those dates put on the calendar.

Plan Your Social Media – Make sure you’re connecting on social media too  Remember, your daily social posts are a way to consistently keep your agency name and brand in front of your clients.  If you don’t have time to figure out what to write, then check out Mega Posts

Get Organized – If you have some quiet days around the Christmas holiday, then get everyone busy on organizing the office.  Deep clean those break rooms and supply closets.  Declutter the junk and clean out the desks.  Don’t forget about digital clutter too!  Clean out computer files, run software updates, update the virus protection, update passwords (install a password manager app), and make sure everything is in tip-top shape.  You can also see what equipment you might need to purchase (and get a tax write-off on) before the end of the year.
