Insurance Facebook Ads Made Easy

Insurance Facebook Ads don’t have to be difficult!  In fact, they can be really simple.  You just need a strong Facebook marketing strategy.  Today I’ll share some of my favorites!

Start with your Agency Facebook Page.  The people most likely to “Like” your agency on Facebook are your current clients.  Simple as that.  They have a current business relationship with you and a strong reason to keep in contact with your agency on a regular basis.

So if you want to build your agency’s social media presence, this is the place to start.

Why Are “Likes” Important?

In order to grow with social media, you have to have followers.  And if you want these followers to generate LEADS, then they have to be targeted people who will actually do business with you.

That means that getting other insurance agents to like your page won’t help you.  And getting friends that live out of state to like your page won’t help you.

You NEED to focus on getting your friends, clients and other LOCAL people to like you!  We’ve talked about some different ways to grow likes, but another option is to use a Facebook Ad!

Insurance Facebook Ads Generate Leads

One of my clients, an Allstate agent with a large book of business, started running a Facebook Like ad to his current clients.  We uploaded a list of client email addresses for Facebook to match up with and targeted those specific people!

Result?  In the past 7 days, he’s had 55 new likes! And as you can see below, he didn’t have a huge page to start with.

But Robyn, “likes” don’t = leads.

Maybe not immediately, but “likes” do lead to something equally important.

Let’s say that my client above, now wants to run an ad offering an auto insurance quote.  We would want to target people who live in his area right?  But let’s make it a little more strategic than that!

I would specifically target local people who are also friends with someone who likes his page (a current client).

So when that prospect sees the ad on their Facebook page, they would also see that one of their friends likes the page too.  It’s a silent testimonial for your business!  A vote of confidence from someone they actually know.  And it’s very powerful.

What Happens Next?

The prospect has seen your ad, they’ve seen that their friend ‘likes’ you, and now they click to your website.

You’ve got that nice website, put it to use!  Another one of my clients has focused on sending people who live in his local area directly to his Allstate website for a quote.  He is in a more rural area with less competition and the results are pretty impressive!

Over 450+ people have visited his Allstate website in the last two weeks for under $100.  Not to mention that over 9,000 local people have seen his name and agency location!

Facebook is a complex marketing strategy and it takes time to develop. You will have to spend time testing, designing, and strategizing.  But it’s worth it!
